The Green Bury

Cube Architecture and Design were commissioned by Property Alliance Group in 2008 to produce a speculative office development on a strategic gateway site in Bury, Greater Manchester. The development sits on the banks of the River Irwell that provided challenges with a flood risk coupled with a requirement to enhance the existing ecology, whilst linking the site between Bury Town Centre and the River Irwell Sculpture Trail.

There is a total of 10,000m² of office development on this site within four separate buildings. As the site sits below the existing road network the buildings diminish in height from five to three storeys in line with the elevation of the new access road to the larger development site for Chamber Hall Business Park.
